Enjoy the masterful skill of J. S. Bach’s organ compositions, performed on Epiphany’s Schoenstein pipe organ. Centered around Bach’s music for the Christmas season, this program includes familiar tunes such as “Good Christian Friends,” and other music from Bach’s church in Leipzig.

Fourth in a series, these selections are a small part of Bach’s extensive and humble musical offerings, as he often inscribed it, Soli deo Gloria, for the glory of God alone.

Cathryn Wilkinson has performed professionally on organ and piano in Monterey County, northern California, Virginia, Iowa, and Chicago. She has been featured at national conventions of the Organ Historical Society and the American Guild of Organists, and with the MPC String Orchestra. Currently she directs the music program at Church in the Forest, Pebble Beach, and teaches on the music faculty at Monterey Peninsula College.
