OrgelKids Kit First Build

Our chapter members and spouses had great fun assembling our new OrgelKids kit in our September 2024 meeting. We have joined with two other Chapters in purchasing this amazing kit. With no previous experience, it took us less than an hour from opening the two large Pelican cases containing all the pipes and mechanisms to having a fully-assembled and playable pipe organ.

We then had a delightful social time with snacks provided by members of the Chapter’s Executive Committee.

We intend to take this kit to local middle and high schools to introduce pupils to the organ and how it works. This would be of interest to students studying science, engineering and music. They would build and then play the organ, just like we did, under our guidance. A truly “hands-on” experience. Please contact us if your school is interested.
